PARENT/GUARDIAN CODE OF ETHICS

PARENTS/GUARDIANS CODE OF ETHICS It is the responsibility of all parents/guardians to conduct themselves in a respectful and ethical manner at all times before, during and after all softball games and/or sponsored events. Parents are expected to respect the integrity and judgement of officials, umpires, players, coaches, and parents/guardians. Please read the specific behavior guidelines established for parents/guardians, players, and coaches. By clicking "I accept" below, signifies your willingness to respect and abide by the Code of Ethics. 1. I will emphasize the proper ideals of sportsmanship, ethical conduct and fair play. 2. I will remember that an athletic contest is just a game. 3. I will show courtesy to opposing teams and officials. 4. I will not criticize umpires, direct abuse or profane language toward them or undermine their authority. 5. I will not indulge in criticism that would undermine the authority of a coach or league official. 6. I will not enter onto the field or yell from the bleachers/sidelines to the coach or provide instructions for my daughter or other members of the team. INFRACTIONS OF ANY OR ALL OF THE ABOVE COULD JEOPARDIZE YOUR ATTENDANCE AT FUTURE NHGSL GAMES OR FUNCTIONS.
